Ghost In The Cell is the project of Georgian-Swiss composer Demetre Gamsachurdia. It follows texts by the imprisoned activists Sam Melville and Merab Kostava, exploring freedom of the mind through, or better, in spite of incarceration. Musically it is an improvised rendition of the minimal music piece ‘Coming Together’ by Frederic Rzewski. I am very excited to be touring in Switzerland and Georgia in the beginning of July, playing alto saxophone with analogue effects.
